Silk Stole 400H

This handwoven stole is woven entirely of silk and is just about my favorite item to weave.

Each end has a border pattern called "Blooming Leaf" which is an old traditional pattern that was used on coverlets.

This stole is also woven entirely of silk and has the border pattern called "Blooming Leaf" (which is an old traditional pattern that was used on coverlets).

This handwoven stole is also woven entirely of silk and has the border pattern called "Blooming Leaf" (which is an old traditional pattern that was used on coverlets).

This time I used black as the background and a golden-colored raw silk for the pattern.

This handwoven stole is showing another variation possible by using different yarns and colors.

I have used black silk for the warp (lengthwise threads) and also for the background and middle section of the weft (side to side threads).

Silk and Bamboo Stole 400N

One of the things I love about the 'Blooming Leaf' pattern is that it is so versatile.

This stole is woven using bamboo for the pattern and silk for the background and the ends have a portion  of that pattern.
